Nike has demonstrated a high-tech, watermark-free dyeing device that dyes fabrics without the need for large amounts of water and dyes. This equipment has benefited Nike's main partner, Far East New Century Co., Ltd. (FENC). . The company has named this innovative device "ColorDry" to highlight its environmental benefits and unprecedented coloring technology.

In the traditional industrial dyeing process, on average, it takes 100-150 liters of water per kilogram of textile. Industry analysts estimate that by 2015, more than 39 million tons of polyester will be used for dyeing each year.

Consumers are expected to see Nike ColorDry products available early next year. FENC initially stated that ColorDry is more effective and dyed than traditional dyeing methods. Kuenlin Ho, executive vice president of the company, said: "The ColorDry dyeing process saves 40% of the time and 60% of energy compared to traditional dyeing methods, while reducing the plant's emissions by a quarter. Surprisingly, this is the most saturated, intense and even color we have ever seen."
